COMPLETE YOUR BALLOT NOW!

If you opted to vote by mail in the upcoming November 3 election, you've most likely received your vote-by-mail ballot by now. But if you haven't completed and mailed it yet, now's the time to tackle this all-important task!

First, be an informed voter. Here are some non-partisan websites that can help:

Once you've completed your ballot, place it in the mailing envelope (you don't need to add postage) then put it in the mail, or drop it at any official ballot drop box. If you're sending it by mail, try to put it in a mailbox before election day, because it must be postmarked by November 3!

VOTING FOR KIDS – YES ON PROPOSITIONS 15 AND 16

One of the most important roles of PTA is to support laws that improve the lives and children and families. That’s why PTA supports more money for our underfunded schools and communities, and opportunity for all, regardless of race, sex or ethnicity.

Will California support kids in this election? It’s up to you!

Prop. 15 - More Money for schools and local communities

Proposition 15 will raise up to $11.5 billion in additional funding for schools and local communities. Find out how much your county and school district will receive by clicking here.

Prop. 16 - Opportunity for all, regardless of race, sex or ethnicity

Proposition 16 permits government decision-making policies to consider race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in order to address diversity.

Everyone, regardless of race or gender, should have an equal shot at fair wages, good jobs, and quality schools. But we’re not there yet. Women and people of color still face discrimination in hiring, employment, contracting, and education. Let’s give all families and children an opportunity to succeed.
