Dear PTA Leaders and Members:
The coronavirus outbreak has changed all of our lives in ways large and small, and we hope that you are coping as well as can be expected during this difficult time. The volunteers and staff at California State PTA are here for you as you navigate unprecedented challenges in your family and your PTA.
We want to update you on a couple of things that have changed at California State PTA since our last message:
First, the state office has extended its remote work-from-home plan through April 29, on the advice of federal, state and local officials. Staff will continue to maintain their usual high level of support and service to members and leaders.
Second, we have expanded and updated the COVID-19 pages on our website with more information and resources that are relevant to you. For example, you can find out how to talk to your children about the outbreak; learn strategies for staying healthy and busy while confined to your house; browse distance-learning resources; read frequently asked questions for running your PTA without holding in-person meetings or events; and get summaries of the latest COVID-19-related legislation.
